Massachusetts Working Parent Association: Massachusetts ACORN has been organizing working parents to pressure the state to improve access to childcare for low- to moderate-income families.
New York Childcare Providers: New York home-based childcare workers are coming together to form a union, with the United Federation of Teachers and ACORN providing support.
The SEIU Canada Internship Program: ACORN has trained more than 30 new organizers in intensive Organizer Academies in Canada over the last 2 years.
The ACLOC Apprentice Program: ACLOC provides administrative, and training support on hundreds of new organizers during their training period with SEIU International. This has allowed ACLOC apprentice to create a template program that is now being utilized by other Unions.
